Hamburger Sliders in the Oven – Yummy Baked Burgers

Easy Oven Baked Slider Hamburgers are sure to be a family favorite. We love these mini burgers made with beef, cheese, thousand island dressing and crisp lettuce!  Add some pickles and you are in for a YUMMY restaurant-style burger.

Why You Will Love These Burgers – Burgers made in the oven are so delicious and moist, almost like a big meatloaf hug.

Can I Cook Oven Baked Burgers in my Toaster Oven?

Yes, but you will need cut the recipe in half and use just 1 lb. of ground beef to cook in a toaster oven. Cook on about 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until burgers are cooked to your liking. Drain any grease halfway through cooking time.

Ingredients Needed for Your Oven Baked Hamburger Sliders

  • Ground beef
  • Slider buns
  • American cheese slices
  • Eggs
  • Minced onion
  • Garlic powder, salt & pepper
  • Yellow Onion, minced
  • Lettuce
  • Dill pickles
  • Thousand Island Dressing
  • Bacon

How to Cook Burgers in the Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. In a medium bowl, gently mix together the beef, dried minced onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and eggs.
  3. Divide the meat into two rectangles pressed out slightly larger than 6 of the rolls in two rows of three. (Once cooked the meat will be placed on top of the bottom buns.)
  4. Place meat rectangle patties onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Press to make sure that the meat is even in thickness.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until meat is no longer pink on top
  6. Remove as much of the grease as possible by damping with paper towels.
  7. While the beef is baking, fry up the bacon and sweat the minced onion. Also spoon a couple tablespoons of dressing on the bottoms of each of the 12 buns.
  8. Place meat patties on each of the bottoms of the 6 buns you have laid out. Do this for both sets of buns.
  9. Spread more dressing on top of the meat rectangles. Top with the onions and cheese slices.
  10. Return to the oven for several minutes until the cheese is melted.
  11. Remove from the oven, top with pickles, bacon, and lettuce, then crown them with their tops.
  12. Cut the burger into individual servings and enjoy!

Mix Ground Beef, Minced Onon, Spices and Egg. Don’t over-mix the ground beef or let it get too warm while mixing.

Bake the hamburger meat in the oven for about 15-20 minutes. Drain any grease or blot with a paper towel. Don’t forget the salt & pepper!

  • Purchase ground beef that is extra lean and you will have less grease.
