Baking Chicken Thighs in the Oven –
- How long do you cook chicken thighs in the oven and what temperature to use?
We cook our boneless, skinless chicken thighs at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes.
- Should You Rinse your Chicken Thighs before Cooking?
We do not. We carefully take the chicken out of the package and lay on our baking sheet covered with foil.
- Should I use boneless and skinless chicken thighs?
We use the boneless, skinless chicken thighs for this recipe, but you could actually use whatever type you enjoy the most. You can buy chicken thighs with the skin and remove it your self. Sometimes this can save money on the package of chicken.
- What type of baking sheet works best for this recipe?
Definitely a cookie sheet or baking sheet with a rim. There will be juices that cook out of the chicken and you don’t want spills in your oven. You can use the juices at the end of the cooking time to baste your chicken before cutting or serving.
Cut the chicken in small pieces to use in chicken tacos or taco salad. Store the rest of the chicken in the refrigerator and use as is.
