- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup red wine (optional)
- 1 onion, sliced
How to Make a Beef Roast:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C)
- Pat the beef roast dry with paper towels, and season it generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large oven-safe skillet or roasting pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef roast on all sides until browned.
- Remove the roast from the skillet and set it aside. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, and onion powder. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

- Cover the skillet or roasting pan with a lid or aluminum foil and transfer it to the preheated oven.
- Roast the beef for about 2 to 2.5 hours, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. You can use a meat thermometer to check for doneness (145°F or 63°C for medium rare, 160°F or 71°C for medium).
