Sometimes you need something easy, or dinner just isn’t getting on the table. This simple Knorr Recipes with Ham and Rice made with Knorr’s rice packets is about as easy as it gets and will save you a fortune on takeout!

Skillet Ham with Rice and Cheese – Delicious Dinner using Knorr’s Chicken Flavored Rice Sides

Sometimes it’s almost impossible to get dinner on the table when days are crazy and hectic. This easy Skillet Ham with Rice dinner recipe using Knorr’s Rice Sides and diced ham is as easy as it is delicious – and is on your table in about 10 minutes!

Serve this dinner with a healthy basic salad to make a complete meal.

Ingredients Needed for this Ham and Rice Recipe:

  • Diced ham
  • Butter
  • 2 (5.6 oz.) packages Knorr’s Rice Sides – Chicken Flavored Rice and Pasta Blend
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

How to Easily Make this Ham and Rice Recipe:

STEP 1. Using a large skillet with a lid, cook diced ham in melted butter for about 3-4 minutes.

STEP 2.  Add water to the skillet and bring to a light boil.

STEP 3. Stir in the rice packets; reduce heat and cover.

STEP 4. Cook for about 7 minutes.

STEP 5. Remove lid and sprinkle on cheese. Place the lid back on the skillet and let the cheese melt.

  • 1-1/2 cups diced ham
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 (5.6 oz.) packages Knorr's Rice Sides - Chicken Flavored Rice and Pasta Blend
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Using a large skillet with a lid, cook diced ham in melted butter for about 3-4 minutes.
