Knorrs Recipes – Knorrs Chicken and Rice Using Just One Skillet
We recently asked a busy Mom of 3, that works full time, what was her “go-to meal” when things got hectic and she was pressed for time – or just too tired to cook a meal…
The answer was braised chicken thighs cooked in one skillet with 2 packages of Knorrs Rice Medley and a handful of green peas.
Knorrs makes delicious blends of rice & spices for quick side dishes, but as we found out they are also perfect for a main dish entree. Always keep some packages in your pantry for when things get hectic!

Ingredients Needed for Knorr’s Chicken and Rice Recipe:

- Chicken Thighs, boneless and skinless
- 2 packages Knorr Rice Medley
- Olive oil
- Butter
- Onion
- Frozen peas
- Grated Parmesan cheese
How to Make Delicious Knorr’s Chicken and Rice:
Easy Steps:
STEP 1. Melt butter with the olive oil in a large skillet with a lid.
STEP 2. Over medium-high heat, cook chicken thighs on both sides until well-browned.
STEP 3. After both sides are well browned, cover; reduce heat and let cook for about 5-6 minutes.
STEP 4. Remove chicken to a plate and add the onions to the skillet. Cook onions for about 3-4 minutes.
STEP 5. Add packages of Knorrs Rice and peas to the skillet along with 4-1/4 cups of water. Stir and bring to a light boil. Sprinkle rice with Parmesan cheese.
STEP 6. Reduce heat and add the chicken back to the skillet.
STEP 7. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

This is a quick and delicious dinner that uses Knorrs Side Dish Rice packets to get dinner on the table in no time.

- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
