Scrambled Eggs on Cinnamon Toast – How to Make the Best Cinnamon Toast!

One of our old favorites is a simple cinnamon toast with lots of butter, sugar and cinnamon.  Take that delicious toast and add fluffy scrambled eggs, and you have yourself a treat!

These cinnamon sugary eggs are delicious for breakfast or even a brunch-style lunch.

What you Need to Make These Scrambled Eggs on Toast –

  • 2 slices of white bread
  • 1 tablespoon of butter, divided
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 fresh eggs
  • 1/2 tablespoon milk
  • salt & pepper

Crack the eggs into a bowl and using a fork, whip the eggs with milk, salt and pepper.  Melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter in a medium skillet and cook eggs until light and fluffy. (Watch how to make scrambled eggs here.)

Mix sugar and cinnamon until well blended.

Spread the remaining butter over lightly toasted bread. (Toast bread lightly in your toaster.) Sprinkle toast with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Top cinnamon toast with scrambled eggs.  Sprinkle eggs with additional cinnamon/sugar.

That is how we make our favorite cinnamon toast.  Always mix the sugar with cinnamon first. Lightly toast the bread and use lots of butter. Always let the butter melt into the toast before sprinkling with cinnamon/sugar.

Why We Love Scrambled Eggs on Cinnamon Toast

These are two of our breakfast favorites combined! Why just have plain toast when you can enjoy a delicious buttery cinnamon toast. Cinnamon toast pairs well with the buttery scrambled eggs.

Why Type of Eggs to Use?

We always use organic eggs.  You can read more about how to buy the best eggs for you and your family.
