We love this recipe for a few reasons, one it’s SUPER-EASY, and two it’s DELICIOUS! This is an old recipe that is still as loved today as it was back in the day when 3 or 4 ingredient recipes were the norm.
If you don’t have time to cook then this is the perfect recipe for you and your family. It’s goes together quickly and dinner is on the table in about 35 minutes.
How to Make Cheesy Baked Salsa Chicken
- Lay chicken breasts in a casserole dish.
- Sprinkle boneless chicken breasts with brown sugar.
- Spoon over your favorite salsa.
- Bake uncovered for about 30-35 minutes.

- Salsa
- Brown Sugar

Easy and Delicious Dinner - Cheesy Salsa Chicken Breasts
- 1 lb. thin boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 (15.5) oz. jar salsa
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 cup Mexican cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a casserole dish with nonstick spray.

Lay chicken breasts on the bottom of the dish and sprinkle lightly with salt and then brown sugar.

Spoon the salsa on top of the chicken breasts.

Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, depending on the size and thickness of the breasts.

We use both Mexican cheese and Mozzarella cheese depending on what we have on hand and both are delicious in this recipe.
