We love making this moist & delicious crockpot chicken because it’s low in fat and calories and won’t sabotage your weight loss efforts. If you need a quick meal or snack, heat up some chicken and serve on top of your favorite bed of green, or wrap in a flour tortilla with cheese & vegetables.
We always cook the chicken on low setting as not to steam the chicken, but gently cook until it’s moist and tender and ready to serve or shred!
We also use this crockpot recipe instead of purchasing a grocery store rotisserie chicken. Rotisseire chickens can be a little on the cheap side but many of them contain very little meat. When you cook your own chicken breasts, you will get more meat for the money.
Healthy salads contain a serving of protein along with greens, fruits and vegetables. This Crockpot Ranch Chicken has been shredded and goes perfectly on top of your salad!
Slow Cooker Chicken Tip: No peeking – do not take off the lid during cooking time.
