Easy and Decadent Creamed Lima Beans

Ingredients

• 1 lb. bag lima beans, thawed
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 tablespoons flour, mix with a few shakes of salt and pepper
• 1 cup milk
• salt & pepper
• 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Cook lima beans per package directions
2. Make a roux by melting butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
3. Whisk in flour and let cook for about 1 minute. (Keep whisking.)
4. Slowly pour in milk and bring to a light boil.
5. Add cheese to the sauce and additional salt & pepper if necessary,
6. Add lima beans to the sauce and stir to combine.
