Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice uncooked
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken soup base
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

Instructions

  1. Stir everything together in a medium saucepan except for the rice.
  2. Add the rice and stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a light boil.
  4. Cover; reduce heat and cook gently for 18-20 minutes.
