Roasted Chickpeas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 25 oz. can chick peas or garbanzo beans
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teapoon curry powder
  • 2 medium lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Rinse chick peas lightly in cold water and let dry on a clean kitchen towel.

  3. Place the chick peas in a bowl and drizzle with oil, curry powder and the juice from the lemon wedges.

  4. Stir to coat the chick peas as much as possible. Lightly salt & pepper to taste.

  5. Spread coated chick peas out in a single layer on a cookie sheet.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring once.
