Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic power
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup macaroni, uncooked
  • 3 cups beef or chicken broth
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

  1. Using a large deep skillet, brown ground beef until all of the pink is gone. Season beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning and salt as it cooks. Drain off any excess grease.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except the elbow macaroni. Stir and bring to a light simmer. Simmer for about 8-10 minutes.

  3. Stir in the elbow macaroni and let cook for about 6-7 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
