Ingredients Needed for Hamburger Elbow Macaroni Soup:
- Lean ground beef
- Elbow macaroni
- Beef or chicken broth
- Tomato sauce
- Diced tomatoes
- Brown sugar
- Garlic power
- Onion powder
- Italian seasonings
Easy – One Pot Meal – Cook the ground beef and add the spices and salt and pepper. Add the tomatoes, broth and brown sugar. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir in the uncooked macaroni to the beefy tomato soup and cook Simmer for about 6-7 10 minutes, or until macaroni is tender.

- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic power
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasonings
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (14.5 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3/4 cup macaroni, uncooked
- 3 cups beef or chicken broth
- 3 cups water

Using a large deep skillet, brown ground beef until all of the pink is gone. Season beef with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning and salt as it cooks. Drain off any excess grease.

Add the rest of the ingredients except the elbow macaroni. Stir and bring to a light simmer. Simmer for about 8-10 minutes.

Stir in the elbow macaroni and let cook for about 6-7 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
This is just a great meal and so easy to prepare. Lots of bits of tomatoes with chunks of ground beef, simmered in tomato sauce with just a hint of brown sugar. Yum – Dinner is Delicious!
