Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls - We use Hawaiian roles
  • 1/2 lb. thinly sliced ham
  • 8-10 slices Emmental cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected as a single unit.
  3. Place the bottom half of the slider rolls in a baking dish.
  4. Layer the Emmental (Swiss) cheese slices evenly over the bottom rolls. Then layer the sliced ham evenly over the cheese slices.

  5. Brush a thin layer of mayonnaise on top half of the slider rolls.

  6. Place the top half of the slider rolls over the ham to form a sandwich.

  7. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, poppy seeds (if using), Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the sliders.

  9. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  10. If you like, you can remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the tops to get slightly crispy.
  11. Remove from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, and then use a knife to separate the sliders before serving.
