Ingredients

  • 3 lb. Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Beef bouillon
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 6 Hard Rolls

Instructions

  1. Rub beef roast with olive oil and lightly salt and pepper.
  2. Place beef roast in a slow cooker or crockpot. Add beef broth, soy sauce, bouillon and seasonings. Cover and cook on medium-high for 4-5 hours or low 7-8 hours.
  3. Remove beef from broth to a platter; shred beef with two forks. Strain broth and skim off any fat. Pour broth into small cups for dipping. Serve beef on your favorite hard rolls, sliced and warmed in the oven.
