Crack Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz. bag of frozen whole green beans
  • 7-8 slices bacon
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet until slightly crispy. Don't overcook.  Cut bacon into small pieces and drain of all of the grease.
  2. Add 1/2 stick of butter, brown sugar and soy sauce to the skillet with the cooked bacon.  Stir to combine.
  3. Cook on medium-low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring often. Mixture should start to thicken.
  4. Stir in the cooked and drained green beans. Stir to combine the beans and sauce.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
