DAY 2’s Cheeseburger Burritos were the first choice this week. Melting the cheese with the meat and the added mustard brought a new taste to what we normally expect from a burrito. Make sure you have enough for seconds for your big eaters!

 

This Week….

For a shock this week, our taste-testers also liked DAY 5’s Mountain Chili. Normally even the word “chili” brings groans and complaints, but they actually liked this recipe- and complimented the chef, too! It had everything to do with not using kidney beans and using pork and beans instead for a change of pace – not the culinary skills.

DAY 1’s  Vegetable Stir-Fry is so easy to make you won’t believe it. Buy your favorite bottle of stir-fry sauce and it gets even easier!

You can certainly use green peppers for DAY 7’s Grilled Vegetable and Chicken Sandwiches. They are less expensive and taste fine. The red and yellow peppers make for a great presentation, though!

DAY 4’s Crockpot Chicken Noodle Soup  Is it just us – or does it seem like just about everyone is sick this week? Pull out your crockpot and make this healthy and delicious chicken soup and ease those flu and cold symptoms.
