MOUNTAIN-STYLE CHILI


1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 tsp. minced garlic in water
1 1/2 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped green pepper
2 (15.75 oz.) cans Campbell's pork and beans, including sauce 
16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. water
4 tsp. chili powder

In a Dutch oven or large, deep, nonstick skillet, sauté beef, garlic, onions, and green pepper until meat is browned and vegetables are tender, about 3 to 5 minutes. 

Drain off fat. Add pork and beans, tomato sauce, water, and chili powder. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10-15 minutes to blend flavors. Serve immediately.
