DAY 4’s Ginger Chops were this week’s top choice. If you choose, you may want to cut the heat back and bake the chops longer which will tenderize the chops even more.
DAY 1’s Wheely Good Beef and Pasta was also a favorite- but of course it was a pasta meal! The DP kids liked the wheel shapes, too. The hot sauce flavors more than spices the meal, so you be the judge if you want to add a few more drops!
This Week….
DAY 2’s Monte Cristo Sandwiches are more filling than you might think! Make sure you don’t have the heat too high under the pan so the sandwich heats throughout and the cheese melts. Sometimes a sandwich is a welcome change for a dinner- especially for many of us who often eat salads for lunch instead of sandwiches. If you choose, you can crush some of the noodles from the soup mix and add to the cole slaw to give it a little crunch. We personally prefer it “crunchless”, but adding the noodles is very popular.
You will love the ease of Day 4’s Crockpot Chicken and Wild Rice Soup – It’s still soup season and we do love crockpot soups! This is as delicious as it is simple to prepare.

Day 5’s Rotini with Ricotta Cheese & Tomato Sauce is such a nice and easy meal to prepare. Pasta night is always fun especially when you prepare fresh garlic bread. You won’t get any complaints from this meal.
DAY 6’s Family Fish Tacos provides us with a super easy way to get the kids to eat fish. Almost all kids love fish tacos, and this tasty recipe, combined with the snappy rice, will have the kids asking for seconds!
DAY 7’s Beanie’s Best Meatloaf brings you another variation of an all-time favorite. The next day, get some fresh bread, slice the leftover meatloaf thin, top with mustard, and you’ve got a tremendous sandwich! We prefer it cold, but the meatloaf can be heated for the sandwich, too.

This week’s dessert, Cookies and Cream Frozen Delight is just that- a delight! It’s easy, tasty, and looks quite elegant. Switch around ice cream flavors for a different taste. We thought of a bunch of other flavors to try, so let us know if anyone uses a different ice cream.
