DAY 1’s Chicken Stir Fry. This recipe proved to be a favorite with the kids, as they really liked the different way of preparing chicken stir fry with pasta! We really liked the sauce in this recipe made with salad dressing and soy sauce for a change of pace.

This Week ….

DAY 4’s Sausage-Filled Tortillas were another pleaser. They enjoyed the sausage instead of ground beef in these. Beware- we were surprised at how filling these were!

DAY 5’s Clam and Corn Chowder brings you yet another “colder weather” recipe. We hope to enjoy mild weather for a while yet, but are gearing up for the cold months ahead! Hope you enjoy this tasty and easy soup.

This week’s dessert, Pumpkin Spiced Muffins, is best served to adults only. While there is only a small amount of Irish Whiskey in this, the pie doesn’t bake, so the alcohol obviously doesn’t cook out. It is a wonderful, light pie and tastes just like Irish coffee, but there is undoubtedly a distinct alcohol flavor. Buy the kids ice cream, and enjoy this!
