  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 teaspoons Hungarian paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 2 teaspoons dried sage leaves
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Add the turkey and 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil to a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Add all of the spices and salt & pepper.

  4. Form into medium-sized balls (about as big as a golf ball) and flatten with a burger press. If you don't have a burger press then use the flat bottom of a cup.
  5. Add the additional 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil and butter to a large skillet.
  6. Cook turkey patties for about 2 minutes on both sides.
  7. Cover and cook for about 4 minutes or until cooked through.
  8. Add a little chicken broth or water before you cover to keep turkey moist.
