DAY 5’s Sunday Super Pot Roast is just what we need to get ready for the busy holiday season. This is so easy to prepare and a scrumptious meal at the end of a busy shopping day. Keep this recipe handy for the upcoming weeks!

This week’s dessert, Banana Split Cake, is as easy as it is good! Enjoy this non-melting version of an all-time favorite.

Spend more Time Being Thankful – It’s Good For Your Health!

Thanksgiving is a time to sit and reflect on all that we are thankful for. But did you know that it’s healthy to practice thankfulness every day!
There are lots of reasons why it’s important to be thankful and show gratitude for the people and things we have in our lives, but did you know that being thankful is also good for your health?
- Thankfulness makes you a more positive person
- Being thankful makes you happy
- Being thankful gives you more confidence
- Helps build social bonds, strengthen existing relationships, and nurture new relationships
Inhibits harmful comparisons - Diminishes or deters negative feelings such as anger or bitterness
This Thanksgiving, download and print out our thankful cards. Have each person at dinner fill out a card for what they are thankful for. Read them out loud at the end of dinner and have everyone guess who wrote it!
