Mix the Lipton soup mix, beef broth and tomato paste together in your crockpot or slow cooker.
Add the beef cubes to the crockpot with the broth mix and cook on low for 6-7 hours, stirring once during cooking.
Mix together 1/2 cup of the hot broth from the crockpot and the corn starch to make a slurry or thin paste.
Turn your crockpot to high and slowly stir in the slurry. Let cook for about 30 minutes, or until sauce thickens.
