Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, minced fine
  • 1 (25 oz.) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (19 oz.) package cheese tortillini
  • 1 cup mozzerella cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to packed directions, drain and set aside.

  2. Using a skillet, brown ground beef and onions, lightly salt & pepper the beef as it browns.

  3. Drain any grease from the cooked ground beef and stir in the marinara sauce. Bring to a light simmer.

  4. Add the cooked and drained tortellini to the skillet with the browned ground beef and sauce. Stir to combine.

  5. Continue cooking  for 1 minute until everything is warm and heated through. Top with mozzarella cheese and cover the skillet to melt. Remove from heat after 1 minute or when cheese has melted.
