  • 10 oz. Soba Noodles
  • 1 lb. boneless chicken breasts cut into 1" cubes
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil divided
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 medium carrot grated (1 cup)
  • 1 head small cabbage shredded (about 4 cups)
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoos oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch


  1. Cook Soba noodles according to package instructions; drain well and rinse lightly with cool water. Do not overcook the noodles.
  2. Heat 1/2 tablespoon of the  oil in a large skillet and cook the chicken cubes  for about 5-6 minutes or until browned and cooked through. Lightly salt & pepper cubes as they brown.

  3. Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds. Add the shredded cabbage and carrot to the skillet and cook until the cabbage is tender.
  4. Whisk together chicken broth, oyster sauce, soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon oil and the cornstarch. Pour the sauce into the skillet and stir through. Gently add the noodles and toss to combine.
