Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook beef with onions and garlic in a medium skillet. Salt & pepper as it cooks. Drain if necessary.

  2. Place the cooked beef mixture and remaining ingredients in your slow cooker/crock pot and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for about 6 hours.
