Beef Stir Fry with Peppers
1lb.top round steak
2teaspoonrice wine vinegar
2 medium peppers, cored and sliced thin
2green onions, sliced thin
Slice the beef using a sharp knife. This works best if you slightly freeze the beef and slice against the grain.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and rice wine vinegar. Add the meat and stir together well. Let marinate for 1/2 hour.
Heat oil in a large skillet. Add the beef and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Add the red pepper, green onions and garlic to the skillet with the beef and continue to stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and add to the skillet with the beef and pepper. Continue to stir and simmer for about 2-3 minutes on low heat.
