  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white rice (uncooked)
  • 1 (10.8 oz) Bag of Birdseye Lightly Sauced Broccoli with Cheese Sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Bring 2 cups of water with salt to a boil in a medium saucepan with a tight fitting lid.

  2. Once the water begins to boil, stir in the rice.

  3. Empty the package of vegetables into the pan with the rice and gently stir.

  4. Cover; reduce heat and cook for about 16-17 minutes.

  5. Stir in cheddar cheese and cover.  Let sit covered for about 3 minutes.
