Tuna Scrambled Egg Recipe

Breakfast can be delicious and healthy when you make scrambled eggs with tuna fish and cheese. Lots of protein and nutrients for a healthy start to the day.

Tuna Scrambled Egg

Scrambled eggs are always a great morning breakfast idea. Adding in some tuna fish or salmon makes sense to bump up the nutrition value of what you eat first thing! This also makes a great dinner for kids when you don’t feel like cooking. Cheesy Tuna Eggs!

What Ingredients are Needed for Tuna Scrambled Egg:

  • Fresh Eggs (read more about how to choose eggs)
  • Milk – we use whole milk
  • Tuna Fish – Starkist 2.6 oz. pouch
  • Shredded Cheese – shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • Salt & Pepper

 

How to Make Scrambled Eggs with Tuna Fish:

This recipe is simple to double if you want to make 2 servings.

  1. Gather 3-4 eggs and crack gently into a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Add milk and a little salt & pepper – whip eggs lightly using a fork.
  3. Sitr in the tuna fish (or canned salmon) if you prefer.
  4. Melt butter in a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and turn the heat to medium.
  6. Using a spatula, push the cooking egg mixture around the skillet (add the cheese just after the eggs start to set) and continue cooking for about 2-3 minutes or until the eggs are cooked through.
  7. Add additional cheese on top to serve.

 

Whip eggs using a fork to scramble the eggs.

Easy Scrambled Eggs with Tuna Fish and Cheese

How to Store Scrambled Eggs:

Just store in an airtight container in your refrigerator for about 4 days. Simply reheat in the microwave.  Scrambled eggs reheat nicely.

TIPS:

Substitute canned salmon or salmon in a pouch.
This recipe is easy to double.
Use shredded Mozzarella cheese.
