- Salt both sides of the steaks and let them sit on the kitchen counter for 30 minutes.
- Combine all of the chili butter ingredients and place in the microwave for the butter to melt. Stir well to combine. Alternatively, you can melt the butter in a saucepan on the stove and add the spices.
- Before grilling or broiling the steaks, brush both sides with a small amount of the chili lime butter.
- Grill or broil the steaks.
- Serve remaining chili butter in dipping-size bowls to dip slices of cooked meat.
