How to Cook Spaghetti and Frozen Meatballs – Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse. Coat with butter.  Using a large skillet, saute meatballs in olive oil with a little garlic. Add the pasta sauce to the skillet, simmer till hot. Toss the cooked pasta in with the cooked meatballs and red pasta sauce. Stir gently to coat the pasta with sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese and continue to cook until all the cheese is melted.

Frozen meatballs have come a long way and are typically made with fresh ingredients. It’s nice to have something “meaty” ready to go on a night that is hectic and you don’t have any time to cook.

Buy meatballs that are 100% ground beef. Cook your thawed frozen meatballs in a large skillet. Swirl a little garlic in the skillet, add the fresh chopped garlic, then add the meatballs. Cook until meatballs are nicely browned and smell delicious.

You could at this point also add a white cream sauce instead of the red sauce as well for a delicious Swedish meatball dinner. Just cut the meatballs in half before adding them to the skillet.

How to Easily Cook Frozen Meatballs For Your Spaghetti –

Place frozen meatballs on a microwaveable dish and microwave for about 1-2 minutes. You can then add the meatballs right into your simmering tomato sauce, but we like to saute the meatballs first in a little oil and fresh garlic. You can also add some chopped onion for a little more flavor if you like.

Do you Prefer to Bake your Frozen Meatballs?

Meatballs are also delicious baked. Just spray a cookie sheet with non stick spray.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place frozen meatballs in a single layer on the cookie sheet with room in between each meatball. Bake for about 20 minutes or until warmed through.

Spaghetti Cooking Tips:

Cook spaghetti in salted water according to package directions until cooked to your liking. Drain and rinse well with cold water to remove excess starch. Place back in the pan and stir in 1 tablespoon of melted butter to prevent the pasta from sticking.

Cook Frozen Meatballs in a Crockpot or Slow Cooker

Toss the meatballs and your favorite jarred sauce into a slow cooker and cook on low for about 6 hours. Yes, we love super easy peasy!  Serve with your favorite buttered cooked pasta and a fresh tossed salad.

We love the Kirkland brand of Italian Style Beef Meatballs that you can buy from Costco. This one bag has 140 delicious meatballs! And also, Johnsonville Homestyle Meatballs. Remember both brands of these frozen meatballs are fully cooked and ready to use.
