Salmon Asparagus Recipe
Another quick and healthy recipe featuring pan fried salmon! This salmon asparagus recipe with fresh Atlantic salmon only takes about 12 minutes to prepare and it’s super-delicious.
Easy enough for the beginner cook to make for dinner, and a recipe the whole family will enjoy.

Atlantic Salmon with Fresh Asparagus cooked quickly in your skillet.
- 4 salmon filets (or about 1-1/4 lb.)
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus
- 1 medium lemon
- 1/2 cup water

Sprinkle tops of salmon with a little salt, pepper, dried dill and garlic powder.

Add oil to a large skillet with lid and heat on medium-high. Add salmon to the skillet skin-side up, cook for about 2-3 minutes. Squeeze a little lemon juice over fish while cooking.

Gently flip fish over and cook for about 2-3 minutes.

Flip fish back to skin-side up and add 1/2 cup of water to the skillet along with the fresh asparagus. Squeeze a little bit more lemon juice over fish and asparagus. Place lemon slices on top of fish.

Bring to a light simmer; cover and cook about 5 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
Cut the lemon in half and use one half for juice and the other half for lemon slices to lay on top of the fish while it's cooking.
