We always have a few packets of dry Ranch dressing tucked away to make this ranch chicken recipe for days when we don’t have a lot of time to cook.
Chicken legs or thighs works really well with this quick recipe, and at a very reasonable cost, but you can use whatever chicken pieces your family likes the best.
The ranch dressing packet is mixed with the crunchy goodness of Panko-style bread crumbs, giving the chicken a moist inside with a crunchy outside.
Soak the chicken legs in milk for about ten minutes and then roll them around in the bread crumb mixture. It’s just that easy!

- 9-10 chicken legs or a mixture of thighs and legs
- 1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup plain Panko breadbcrumbs
- 1 cup milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Soak chicken pieces in milk for about 10 minutes.

Mix together the ranch dressing powder, Parmesan cheese and the bread crumbs.

Spread the crumbs out in a shallow dish or paper plate.

Roll the chicken around in the crumbs, pressing crumbs into the chicken.

Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray.

Lay chicken pieces on the cookie sheet and bake for about 35-40 minutes.
