Parmesan Crusted Potatoes – A Potato Side Dish to Fall in Love with – Potatoes, Butter and Parmesan Cheese
This super-easy recipe of Parmesan Crusted Potatoes is a very old recipe that goes way, way back in time. It’s still a delicious potato recipe that will have everyone sprinting to the dinner table… it’s just that awesome.
One of our all-time favorite potatoes has to be the red potato. It’s the perfect potato for many quick and tasty recipes and always makes for a delicious side dish no matter how you prepare them.
When shopping for red potatoes, try and pick out potatoes that are similar in size so they cook through and evenly at the same time.
Get your family sprinting to the dinner table with these easy Parmesan crusted potatoes.
- 9-10 medium red potatoes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons dry grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13" casserole dish with nonstick spray.
Wash potatoes and let them dry. Cut each potato in half.
Place the butter in the casserole dish and put dish in the oven for about 5 minutes to melt the butter.
Remove dish from the oven and sprinkle the melted butter with Parmesan cheese. Shake some salt & pepper overall and stir everything to combine.
Place potatoes in the dish skin side down. Sprinkle tops with a little salt & pepper.
Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes.
Red potatoes, butter and grated Parmesan cheese are all it takes to make these delicious Parmesan Crusted Potatoes. Don’t forget the salt & pepper! These potatoes are perfect as is but you can experiment a little with them. Add a little garlic or a little lemon… YUM. Have fun finding your perfect potato.
