Easy Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops Cooked in the Skillet

Pork chops are still a great option for a cheap and easy meal, and you can find delicious boneless center-cut pork chops for a pretty reasonable price at the discount stores like Aldis. Also watch for sales and discounts on meats at your favorite grocery store.
For Parmesan crusted pork chops, we only use grated Parmesan cheese. The grated Parmesan works much better with pan frying and the pork chops turn out moist and tender.

Moist and Delicious Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops in under 20 minutes!
- 6-8 thin center-cut pork chops
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- salt & pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

In a medium bowl, whip eggs lightly with lemon juice.

Mix bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese and a few shakes of salt. Lay bread crumbs mixture on a piece of waxed paper.

Dip pork chops in eggs mixture and swirl around until both sides are well coated.

Coat both sides of the pork chops with the bread crumbs, pressing additional crumbs into the pork using your fingers.

Spray a large skillet with a lid with non stick spray and heat over medium-high heat.

Add the pork chops to the pan and drizzle the oil around the chops.

Cook on each side for 2-3 minutes until browned. Cover and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
IF YOU ARE COOKING WITH THICKER PORK CHOPS A LONGER COOKING TIME MIGHT BE REQUIRED. ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR PORK IS COOKED THROUGH.
Make sure to buy thin pork chops if possible. If not, gently pound your pork chops thin using a meat mallet.
Coat both sides of the pork chops with egg mixture. Lightly salt and pepper and leave pork chops sit in egg mixture for about 2-3 minutes.
Coat the pork chops in the egg mixture and then dip in bread crumbs. Coat both sides of the pork chops with bread crumbs. Push bread crumbs into the pork chops using your fingers or the back of a spoon.
Thin center-cut pork loin chops ready for the frying pan. For a delicious and healthy side dish, saute halved cherry tomatoes in olive oil with a minced clove of garlic. Add fresh herbs and a little salt & pepper.
