The Original Farmers Market

151 Park Road, McDonald, PA 15057
Open Monday – Wednesday – Friday starting at 5:30
Right off of Route 50 near Bridgeville – Cecil – McDonald (old Route 50)

This is a large Farmers Market with local farmers coming in to sell their fresh produce.  There is a food stand/truck there and plenty of picnic tables so it would make a nice stop for dinner and to pick up fruits and vegetables for the week.  There was a large variety of fruits/vegetables to pick from and definitely very fresh.
*These are some pretty hard working farmers so try and make it a weekly stop.

Janoski’s Famers Market is just around the corner from Raccoon State Park off of Route 30. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables available in the summer months along with a nice selection of baked goods and sweets.  There are too many items to list but they do have a large selection of canned jams,  jellies, pickled beets and pickles. Janoski’s Farmers Market also has a wine cellar where they sell a nice selection of local wines.  Of course we could not resist picking up a bar of French Milled Fresh Peach Soap from their sweet smelling selection of soaps.  Janoski’s is well worth the trip and they also have their own restaurant on the other side of the road so also plan for lunch.
