Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs – Steaming Eggs using Your Instant Pot!
If you love hard boiled eggs like we do, you are going to love using your Instant Pot to quickly cook the best hard boiled eggs ever.
Instant Pot Hard Boiled eggs are quick and easy with no water to boil or pan to watch over. And the best part is – the Instant Pot make AWESOME hard boiled eggs using the “STEAMING” feature.
Since eggs vary in size, you may want to try these Instant Pot hard boiled eggs a few times with your favorite size eggs. We find the cooking time can vary about 1 minute depending on the size of the eggs.

Make the Best Hard Boiled Eggs right in Your Instant Pot using The Steamer Feature
- 6-7 Medium-Sized Eggs
- 1 cup water

Set up the steamer basket in your Instant Pot.

Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the inner pot.

place 6 - 7 eggs in the steamer basket.

Secure the lid on the Instant Pot and turn the valve to "SEALING."

Push the "STEAMER" button and set the timer for 5 minutes.

Once the eggs have finished cooking, let the eggs sit for 3 minutes in the pot.

Do a "QUICK" release of the valve and carefully remove the eggs. You can remove the eggs by using the soup spoon or by pulling out the basket.

Gently run cold water over the eggs until they are cool enough to peel.

Peel the eggs and let sit for one minute before slicing or eating.
The eggs are steamed to perfection using the STEAMER function of your Instant Pot.

What You Need for Basic Deviled Eggs –
7 large hard boiled eggs
1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoons sweet relish
2 teaspoon prepared mustard
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Sprinkle of paprika
Slice each egg in half lengthwise. Gently remove all of the egg yolks and place in a bowl.
Mash egg yolks with a fork until creamy. Stir in mayonnaise, relish, mustard, salt and pepper.
Fill each half of the egg white with yolk mixture. Always sprinkle your eggs with a little paprika to make them pretty.
