Healthy Sloppy Joe Recipe Made from Scratch
There are a few things that are much tastier made from scratch, and sloppy joes is one of them.
We are from Pittsburgh, PA and trust me we know our sloppy joes! Just like we know our delicious Ham BBQ’s!
Sloppy joes are perfect for a quick and tasty meal when you don’t have a lot of time to cook. These healthy sloppy joes are also perfect for a party or a backyard picnic because they are cheap and easy to make.
Just mention sloppy joes to anyone and they immediately think of cups of ketchup, brown sugar, and tons of Worcestershire sauce. A not so healthy meal with tons of sugar and salt.
These perfect little sandwiches are made much healthier by using no sugar and also reducing the amount of salt. The touch of honey adds a bit of sweetness with a nice balance of organic vinegar.
So cook up some Joes and gather around the dinner table for a nice family meal.
