- Ground Chicken
- Olive Oil
- Organic Egg
- Brown Sugar
- Curry Powder
- Ground Turmeric
- Breadcrumbs
- Salt

Healthy Chicken Meatballs for an Easy Dinner or Snack or Topping for a Healthy Salad
- 1 lb. ground chicken
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground tumeric
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Gently mix everything together.

Using a tablespoon, measure out a level scoop of ground chicken meatball mixture.

Using the palm of your hands, roll mixture into small meatballs.

Spray a casserole dish or cookie sheet with nonstick spray and place meatballs on sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes, turn meatballs and bake for an additional 7-8 minutes.

This chicken meatball recipe makes about 24 small meatballs. Use a tablespoon size measuring spoon to measure out the correct portion of ground chicken. Level off one tablespoon of the ground chicken per meatball.

This recipe calls for about 18 minutes of cooking time in the oven. Always keep in mind the size of your meatballs will vary the cooking time. Poultry cooking internal temperature needs to reach 165 degreed on your instant read thermometer.

Can you Freeze Meatballs?
Let your meatballs cool completely and then place meatballs in a single layer on a baking/cooking sheet and place in the freezer for about an hour.
Check to make sure meatballs are frozen and then place in freezer safe bags. Don’t forget to mark the date on the outside of the bag. It is recommended one month in the freezer.
To reheat, let thaw and then reheat in the microwave or place on a baking sheet, cover with foil and bake until heated through.
