There was a tie this week between DAY 1’s Saucy Pepperoni Pasta and DAY 7’s Roman Pasta. We weren’t surprised- both were extremely tasty! While the pine nuts are optional for the Roman Pasta, we felt they really added to the taste. Two pasta dishes, but with totally different end results- appearance, taste, etc. We get many requests for pasta entrees, so we hope you will enjoy these two as much as we did.
This Week….
DAY 2’s Tender Pork in Apple Juice is a tasty and easy way to prepare pork. You can use a different pork roast if desired. Let us know how it turns out if you do!
We love DAY 3’s Delicious Chicken Pot Pie. You can also cover the chicken with water in a skillet or sauce pan, lightly simmer for about 15 minutes.
This is also a great meal if you cook chicken breasts in advance and freeze the deboned chicken. This article will show you how.
DAY 5’s Baked Haddock Au Gratin can also be made with many other types of fish if you prefer one over the other. It is an easy and simple recipe, and if you do make the potatoes ahead of time, the meal pulls together in minutes.
This week’s dessert was simple and delicious. This is a great way to sneak in that extra fruit that your kids will actually love. Try a bit of whipped cream on top!
