Can Ground Turkey be Substituted for the Beef and Pork?

Yes, ground turkey can be substituted. Ground turkey comes in various fat options. We like to use an 85% lean and 15% fat variety as this adds much more flavor to the meatballs. Ground turkey is also a great option for this recipe.

Why we love Swedish Meatballs

Simply put, Swedish Meatballs are just good food! Anything that is cooked and served in a cream sauce is just decedent. Creamy, yummy and satisfying.  Meatballs are always a great choice when you want a great meal. This recipe would also be nice to serve to guests.

Meat Ball Tips:

Don’t overmix the meat. This will make it warm, and it can become sticky.
Try to get the meatballs the same size so they cook through at the same time.
