Apple Cake Recipe From Scratch

Fall is a great time to start making homemade fresh & moist cakes with seasonal fruits!
My family loves this Fresh Apple Cake Recipe, especially now that it’s fall and apple season!!
- 1 Cup of White Sugar
- 1 Cup of Dark Brown Sugar
- 3 Eggs Beaten
- 1 Cup of Oil
- 2 Teaspoons of Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 Cups of Flour
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt
- 1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
- 2 Teaspoons of Cinnamon
- 4 Peeled cored, and Diced Apples
- 1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/4 Pound of Unsalted Butter
In Order, mix all Cake Ingredients by hand.
Pour in a 9x13 greased and floured Cake Pan.
Bake at 350, approximately 45-50 minutes.
In a Sauce Pan, mix all ingredients together and simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour over Cake and return to oven for 5 minutes.
Serve this delicious apple cake warm with vanilla ice cream!
