Easy 4 Ingredient Chili Perfect for Halloween

This year I decided to make my very own 4 ingredient chili for my annual Halloween party. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays of the year and a festive time in my neighborhood.

One of my yearly Halloween traditions is to make chili for dinner, but this year I am trying to speed things up to leave more time for family and friends. This is a bit of a different version of the chili I normally make, but it worked out well with the few ingredients I had.

Halloween is a quick holiday and just as it seems you barely get the candy out of the bag, it’s time to put everything away for next year.

And because Halloween goes by so fast, you need to get everything cooked ahead of time so you don’t spend a lot of your happy Halloween holiday time cooking a meal! Boo on that.

This delicious 4 ingredient chili is as about as quick and delicious as you can get. No need for a big fuss, just cook up these few ingredients and invite a few goblins over for dinner. Have some shredded cheese and sour cream handy for a garnish. Serve with a side of warm dinner rolls or homemade corn bread with honey and cheddar.

We do use salt, pepper and chili powder in this chili, but there are only 4 main ingredients. Salt and pepper the beef as you cook and add about 1/2 tablespoon of chili powder! Enjoy!

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 small onion chopped fine
1 24 oz. jar tomato puree
1 can black chili beans

Instructions

Cook the ground beef and onions, breaking beef apart with a spatula as you cook.
When beef is browned add the rest of the ingredients and stir until combined.
Let simmer for about 15 minutes on low.

We bought “Kuner’s black beans with cumin & chili spices. Just perfect for this 4 ingredient chili! If you can find the Delallo brand of tomato puree, we think that’s one of the best.
