Turkey Meatballs in tomato sauce that are low in fat & very healthy!

These meatballs are great for a low fat meal.  

Just because you are eating light and healthy, does not mean you need to give up taste!

EASY TURKEY MEATBALLS WITH TOMATO SAUCE

1 1/4 lb. ground turkey
1 small onion chopped 
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed of excess water 
1/4 cup honey mustard
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
Salt & Pepper 

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce


Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

In a medium sized bowl, combine turkey and spinach, mix through.  In a small bowl, lightly whip honey mustard, milk and 1 egg.  Pour mixture over turkey.  Add onion, garlic and salt and pepper.  Combine until well mixed.

Form into 6 medium sized meatballs.  Bake for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and pour equal amounts of tomato sauce over each meatball.  Bake for an additional 5 minutes.  Can top with pinch of parmesan cheese.
