Sweet Potato Wedges – A Healthy and Delicious Side Dish for Dinner

You have those pork chops thawing on the kitchen counter, but what to have for a side dish? How about the sweet and savory sweet potato!

Sweet Potato Wedges are Easy to Prepare, and oh so Healthy!

This potato side dish is often overlooked because it might seem like it’s a lot of work to prepare. This is so not true as it only takes about 4-5 minutes of prep work and then an additional 20-25 minutes of bake time to have this healthy little tater on the table.

  • Sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene which is an antioxidant important to a healthy body.
  • The recommended daily amount of vitamin A can be achieved with only about 1/2 cup of sweet potatoes.
