SUPER SUNDAY POT ROAST

 

 



2 tbsp. canola oil
3 lb. chuck roast 
1 medium onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz. can tomato sauce
6 oz. can tomato paste
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper



In a large pan or skillet, brown all sides of the roast in canola oil.   Add onions and garlic to crockpot or  slowcooker. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cook on high for about an hour, then turn to low for 6 to 8 hours or until tender.
