Chicken & Biscuits - Easy Chicken & Biscuits  Recipe 

 

Old Fashioned Chicken & Biscuits are perfect for dinner and so quick when you have your fresh chicken prepared ahead of time.

Making your own fresh chicken is extremely economical.  Follow direction here on how to make  Chicken stock & pieces.   Freeze any leftover chicken and this will provide you with many quick dinners. 

 

 



HOW TO MAKE EASY CHICKEN & BISCUITS 

Some Chicken & Biscuits recipes call for mushrooms, onions, peas and even carrots.  But this recipe is so much better! This plain, old-fashioned, "church basement" Chicken & Biscuit recipe is perfect plain.  Makes for a great comfort food meal!

EASY CHICKEN & BISCUITS

INGREDIENTS:

3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 (14 1/2) oz. can chicken broth
1 1/2 cups milk
3 cups shredded chicken
*1 or 2 teaspoons of "chicken flavored" soup base.

1 package of refrigerated biscuits

DIRECTIONS:

Prepare biscuits according to directions.

While biscuits are baking, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.  Slowly stir in flour adding salt & pepper to the flour.  Slowly add chicken broth stirring constantly.  Add the milk and chicken and stir to combine and let mixture simmer for about 1 -2 minutes or until thickened.

Serve over hot biscuits.
